Techniques & Skills:
Using a Pastry Bag and Decorating Tips
Using Gel Food Coloring I Working with Candy Melts

Recipes include:

SNOWMAN CAKE POPS
– hand formed cake balls on a stick dipped in
white chocolate melts, then artistically decorated
with candy dragee ‘button eyes and coal mouth’
and orange sunflower seed ‘carrot nose’!

CHRISTMAS TREE PULL-A-PART CUPCAKES
– everyone will take home a chocolate cupcake tree
frosted with vanilla bean buttercream icing,
then festively decorated with holiday
candies and mini candy canes

HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE CAKE
– Le Chat Gourmet’s signature chocolate cake recipe,
amazingly moist and oh so delicious!

VANILLA BUTTERCREAM ICING
– homemade vanilla buttercream icing
colored with green and brown gel food coloring

‘Lunch is Served!’
HOLIDAY ROTISSERIE CHICKEN SALAD
While our cupcakes are cooling, we’ll create a delicious holiday
color scheme inspired salad for our lunch with artisan baby lettuces,
crumbled feta cheese, rotisserie chicken breast,
and homemade champagne dressing

Tuesday, July 19th
Recipes include: HOMEMADE BAGELS – you’ll be working with yeast to make bagel dough, then learn how to hand form, proof, poach and bake bagels; PIZZA BAGELS – we’ll top our bagels with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices; PIZZA SAUCE – homemade pizza sauce with Italian herbs; CHOPPED SALAD with BAGEL CROUTONS – build your own salad with chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber moons, crispy bagel croutons and homemade creamy asiago dressing; BAGEL CROUTONS – homemade bagel croutons tossed with olive oil and oven baked until golden and crispy.

Recipes include: SMASH BURGERS – hand formed smash burger patties topped with American cheese, shredded lettuce and our special sauce on a bakery bun; HOMEMADE SPECIAL SAUCE – a burger sauce made with a combination of mayo, ketchup and spices; SWEET POTATO FRIES – hand cut sweet potato fries; SUMMER SMORE’S with HOMEMADE MARSHMALLOWS – toasted ‘homemade marshmallows’ (yes, we’ll be making marshmallows and toasting them with a kitchen torch!) sandwiched between graham crackers and Hershey’s chocolate.
