DEPOSIT
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of US $1,000 per person, via check made payable to ‘Le Chat Gourmet’ is required to secure your booking. Reservations will be confirmed by email upon receipt of your signed copy of the booking form and waiver, together with the deposit.
FINAL PAYMENT
The remaining balance in full must be received by Le Chat Gourmet no later than May 1st, 2023, via check made payable to ‘Le Chat Gourmet’. If payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to regard your reservation as cancelled and retain your deposit.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
If we receive written notice of your cancellation 125 days prior to September 1st, 2023 (and have also received payment in full for the program), we shall refund 50% of your total fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations 124 days or less prior to September 1st, 2023. Your $1,000 deposit is ‘non-refundable’ which also means it is ‘non-transferable’ to another year unless we are able to fill your spot. No refunds will be given for any sightseeing, accommodations, meals or excursions that the participant misses or decides not to take. There will be no refunds for any unused portion of the trip. In the event that Le Chat Gourmet must cancel a trip for any reason, all fees, including deposits, will be returned in full. However, the costs of any travel arrangements you may have made will not be reimbursed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Le Chat Gourmet and its representatives assume no liability for injury, delay, inconvenience, accident, irregularity, loss or damage to person or property or additional costs resulting directly or indirectly from the following causes – fire, acts of government, thefts, delays, cancellations, war, acts of terrorism, weather conditions, sickness and or any other causes beyond our control. Furthermore, Le Chat Gourmet and its representatives act only as agents and assume no liability for injury, damage, loss or accident in any vehicle or through default of any company or persons engaged in carrying out the arrangements of the program. Le Chat Gourmet and its representatives reserve the rights to accept, or to retain or refuse any person as a participant of any tour or to cancel any program of a tour if circumstances so demand. Le Chat Gourmet and its representatives reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason (including insufficient number of participants) or to change itineraries and / or substitute services, accommodations of equal quality without prior notification.
WAIVER
All participants will be required to sign a Release of Liability Agreement at time of booking. Please read this document carefully before signing.
TRANSFERS
There is one scheduled transfer upon arrival and departure at a designated time and place. It is the participant’s responsibility to be at the transfer point at the designated time.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Each participant is required to obtain and carry a valid passport, visa(s) and any other documentation required by applicable government regulations. Non-US residents may require special travel documents. Check with your local embassy or consulate.
TRAVEL INSURANCE ‘highly recommended!’
We cannot stress enough our recommendation that you purchase separate insurance in case you have to cancel your trip due to health, accident, world events or any other reason, plus baggage and personal effects loss or damage. Make sure the insurance also includes your fees paid to Le Chat Gourmet including your non-refundable deposit.
