Celebrate is the word for Le Chat’s 2021 Tuscany Vacation!
We celebrated gorgeous sunny days filled with billowy blue skies, the joy to travel again, new found friendships, reunited friends, dining family style al fresco, the exploration of hilltop towns and embracing the beauty of Italy.
Tuscany truly is a magical place, that when you permit yourself to slow down, be immersed and embraced by her history and hospitality, you will forever be touched.

And the 2021 celebrations begin, ‘Welcome to Italy’ antipasti platter!
We participated in the wine harvest and celebrated in the vineyard!
And we cooked pici pasta and celebrated the Etruscans
whom it originated in Tuscany over 2,000 B.C.!
And celebrated surprises, like chef’s friend Stefano
stopping in for an impromptu cooking class….
…and celebrated more cooking in Tuscany!
In Cortona we celebrated at Ivan’s galleria, as we stepped
back in time via art to the Etruscan’s and Medici’s!
We walked in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi at Le Celle.
And drove by a certain famous author’s home ‘Under the Tuscan Sun’!
On market day in Castiglione de Largo, we strolled among local stalls,
walked the castle walls overlooking Lake Trasimeno and looked up
inside the Palace della Corgna to celebrated the beautiful frescos.
And we celebrated at Dimitri’s restaurant, a tasting menu of over 30 dishes
from truffle pasta, Chianina Florentine Steak to decadent desserts!
