Cooking Class Format
- Hands-on cooking classes
- State-of-the-art kitchen with Viking appliances and John Boos worktables
- Ingredients, knives, equipment and aprons provided for in-class use
- Anti-fatigue Mats at all prep tables for those standing while cooking
- Stools provided for those preferring to sit while cooking
- Class Size – regular & workshop classes 14-15 persons, private up to 24 persons
- Regular Class Length 3-3½ hours (unless otherwise noted)
- What to wear – comfortable clothing and shoes (no open toe shoes please)
- Instructors reserve the right to alter menus due to seasonal availability of ingredients
- Complimentary mineral water is available
- Dine on your culinary creations at the end of class or take home in to-go boxes
- Students receive a recipe booklet
- Participants age 16 and up (unless preapproved by Chef Vincent)
Workshop Class Format
- Workshop Class Length 4-5 hours
- Hands-on Cooking & Baking Classes
- Due to the class length, workshops are normally formatted into two parts…
PART I: Class 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Break 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM
(dine on what has been prepared thus far)
PART II: Resume class around 1:00 PM - Participants age 16 and up (unless preapproved by Chef Vincent)
Kids Cooking Camps
- Class Size 16 persons
- Class Length 3 hours / 9 AM – Noon
- Participants age 8-16
Payment
Payment is due in full at time of registration (check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash, or
Le Chat Gourmet gift certificates are accepted).
Cooking Class Safety and Responsibilities
Le Chat Gourmet assumes no liability for injury, loss or damage to person or property. Participation in a cooking class at Le Chat Gourmet will involve student use of cooking equipment and tools in a kitchen environment. It is understood and agreed that by making payment for (including the redemption of a gift certificate or volunteering) and/or by participating in the class, the student releases, indemnifies and hold harmless Le Chat Gourmet and the directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents of any of them, from any and all liability of any kind for any damages and/or injuries incurred in connection with the students attendance at a cooking class at Le Chat Gourmet and understands and accepts the risks inherent in the preparation and cooking of food with other people in the kitchen.
