BORDEAUX FRANCE CULINARY VACATION 2007 SUMMARY

Bonjour! Join Chef Denene Vincent on this unique and exciting culinary adventure full of history and wonderful cuisine in the Bordeaux and Cognac region of France! Our accommodation for the week is Le Grand Maison in Neuvicq le Château, a quaint and quiet village to relax and wander in between our day trips. Situated just over an hour north of Bordeaux and twenty minutes from Cognac providing us an excellent location to enjoy tours and tastings from both the Bordeaux wineries and Cognac Distillery Houses. All bedrooms are equipped with private en-suites consisting of a tub or shower, wc and sink. Enjoy your free time relaxing in the garden with spectacular views overlooking the fairy tale Château and rolling vineyards. While outside partake of a game of French boules or croquet, borrow the on-site bikes and cycle around the village and area countryside. Once back inside enjoy a rousing game of billiards in the gameroom or view a film from the extensive movie library.

Our itinerary for the week includes three cooking classes at Le Grand Maison preparing regional cuisine with ingredients purchased from our farmers market visits, a Private Bordeaux Grand Cru Winery Tour and Tasting, Cognac Distillery House Tour and Tasting, a visit to Chocolaterie Letuffe for handmade gourmet chocolates and much more!
